How would I stay on Adderall if I joined Peace Corps? Assuming the country cant provide, can I get in advance?

If u apply to the Peace Corps ur medical file is reviewed by a PC Medical Officer prior to u being “invited” to serve in the PC. The PC has medical guidelines saying which medical conditions r ok & which disqualify u from serving in the PC. If u r currently taking prescription drugs for a medical condition (e.g., Adderall that is prescribed by ur therapist) & the PC Medical Office ok’s u for service then PC will supply u with ur prescriptions while serving in the PC. All medications u r prescribed r supplied to u for free because while in the PC u receive 100% free medical coverage. Although the PC does ask that u bring with u to training a 3-month supply of ur prescriptions because of delays in shipping.

Your therapist would not have to write u a note, because the prescription would be documented in ur medical files that u r required to submit as part of ur PC application.
