Amphetamines (such as Adderall XR, of which l take 20 mg per day) have been known to decrease sex drive, sexual thoughts, libido and ability to get an erection.They can also make your penis appear smaller when flaccid/soft (although it remains full size when erect).Have you other guys noticed this effect as well?
Also, has anyone found if Dexedrine provides the same benefits of Adderall without the sexual side effects?
As you said, Adderall is an amphetamine. Amphetamines stimulate the central nerveous system which can result in elevated blood pressure & heart rate. There are links between declination of the labido & blood pressure.
I personally dont take Adderall, however I do take another medicine for a pupose similar to what this is usually perscribed for. That having been said, I have experienced the same as well. Talk to your doctor, as they may have an alternative for you.
